Universities Win Grants to Study Effects of the BP Oil Spill

Three Florida universities won $37.5 million in research grants to study the effects of the BP oil spill. The University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science won a grant for $29 million, while nearby Nova Southeastern University will receive $8.5 million. BP Fails To Remove Oil Spill Payment Administrator

A federal judge rejected BP’s efforts to remove the administrator of its oil spill payment program.
